Nic and Tina founded Guardian Paws Service Dogs in 2016. Nic served in the USMC for 13 years and deployed 4 times. Tina started her dog training career over 25 years ago. Fifteen years ago she began training service dogs, and in the last 6 years Tina found her passion for training service dogs for veterans.
Mike is not only GPSD Vice President, he and his service dog Ziva are our lead train team in the Magic Valley. Before joining Guardian Paws Mike served his country as a Army Solider, and his community as a Law Enforcement Officer. When Mike is not out working with Veterans, he enjoys his down time with his family.
Being an Army wife, mom of 3 and small business owner has prepared me for most challenges but, when one of the pillars that holds it all together falls no one can by prepared. PTSD was one of those pillars and a service dog was the answer
Tom and his wife Candi joined Guardian Paws Service Dogs in 2019. Before Tom joined Guardian Paws he served our great country in the Unites State Marine Corp. He has worked with many non-profit organizations throughout Idaho. Reach out to Tom if you would like to assist with fundraising events.
Trace started her journey training dogs at a young age. She started showing Vizsla's as a Jr. handler and went on to train sled dogs. Soon after moving to the Boise area, she became a trainer and advocate for Guardian Paws.
